Future of AEC Tools

Future of AEC Tools
By Vignesh Kaushik • Issue #17 • View online
Hello Folks!
Let’s face it. BIM and its ecosystem are here to stay and will go on to shape a significant part of our design process. We do have our share of problems with these tools; interoperability, collaboration & bloatedness being some of the main issues. Solutions like Flux helps solve one chunk of those problems and will continue to define how we interact with geometry and data within the multitude of AEC software we use.
This week, let’s take a peek at some exciting new AEC tools. Some already work very well, while some are work-in-progress. Nevertheless it gives us an idea of the direction in which AEC software development is moving in the next 2-5 years.
Until next week,Vignesh Kaushik, Computational BIM Specialist
